Karpals calling a spade a spade

FEB 13 ?There is one thing I like about DAP chairman road runner internet Singh ?his bluntness. Karpal is calling a spade a spade when he openly demanded that PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim quit as Pakatan Rakyat chief.

He blamed Anwar for creating enough trouble and wanted him to repent.

Karpal said both Pas and PKR had fallen sway to Anwar's rhetoric, who had supported defections of elected usb wireless internet as a way to wrest power from the BN.

The Nintendo Wii shows no signs of slowing down in sales just dial up internet providers And who can blame it? The shops on the high street still struggle to supply the ever onslaught of demand. Ok, it's not as bad as it once was admittedly, but nevertheless the Wii still net streamyx combo tall and proud as the email to sms One console at the time of writing.

As it's understood, the Nintendo Wii is all about fun and exercise isn't it? I think most of us agree on that one as it's quite obvious by the way one has to internet florists the games. No, you might not be running a marathon but you're certainly not sat down for hours on end.

But just web hosting mail grueling is the exercise on the Wii? Let me say one thing first - I am certainly not going to knock the Wii - in my opinion, I think it's broadband filters brilliant, not perfect, just brilliant!

It does, however, seem to me that lots of attention is being given to the exercise element of the games of the Wii and whilst I agree with that, I feel it needs to be put into perspective.

When I first heard of the Wii and how you actually worked your body and moved as if you were playing the actual games for real, I was imagining people running around their lounges, smashing ace serves in tennis, throwing a strike in bowling and bashing someone's face in whilst boxing!

It's not quite like that though is it? You're not really running around a tennis court or prancing around a ring. In fact my nephew who is an avid Wii fan can very easily play the tennis standing in one single position and only moving his hands and wrists! He also stands in one position for the boxing. Actually, he stands in one position for every single game. Of course that's him, not everyone will do that.

So, come on let's keep a level head on this one shall we. Yes, the Wii is superb and excellent and everyone's buying it etc etc, but the thinking that it is full on exercise and I don't have to do anything else, is not quite accurate in my opinion. Certainly it helps enormously to get off one's butt and it is proving to be a massive success even in hospitalization and patients' recovery.

But for the rest of us, yes use the Wii and have fun 'cos it's brilliant, but just once in a while take a walk or go for a swim. There's no motion controller involved, true, but you'll enjoy it all the same.
